I ...Hey Kelly and Randy,

I like your new blog Kelly. I understand the transition thing. We will never be the same. I am currently reading a book that is helping me. You have probably already read it. If not, I would suggest it, if nothing else but to validate your feelings. It could be helpful to Bryan and Tracey as well. I think it is called "The Art of Coming Home", by Craig Sorti. Hope it is helpful. Call us sometime. love,
----GregGreg Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02092425324740754851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651138.post-79832532887278796512008-02-19T10:22:00.000-06:002008-02-19T10:22:00.000-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Greg Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02092425324740754851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651138.post-32079298243157675652008-02-19T09:47:00.000-06:002008-02-19T09:47:00.000-06:00Kelly, I love your new blog! I realize that we are not far behind you in the readjustment thing. I appreciate your honesty and humility as you go through it. It has caused me to be more aware of what's ahead and to pray! You have been in my prayers recently. Randy's post about you was so sweet and I can just picture how you are touching lives in your other job and as well with with your beautiful children. Blessings on you, Kelly! He is so funny... as soon as the music loads my little two year old man dances all over the room while mommy enjoys reading thoughts from you and your heart! God bless you guys! And thank you for always giving me such a candid glimpse into the journey we're on... just a few steps ahead :)laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11216011714249182846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7651138.post-87707961272763546082008-02-19T00:08:00.000-06:002008-02-19T00:08:00.000-06:00I love the look, too! Thanks for the awesome referr...I love the look, too!

Thanks for the awesome referral my marketing blog....hint to all of your readers!

I agree with Kelly that so much of our life is still about pressing on through each day. That's about as far as I can think. I have prided myself on being a long-term planner, but honestly, I don't think that way right now. It's so much mental effort to get through the day. This may seem odd to most people, but any of you fellow ex-pats who have done the re-entry can testify, huh??? (this would be a nice place to comment so that other readers don't think Kelly and I are nuts!)

The rkvaughn.blogspot.com was "mine" when I first started it back in 2004...that's when I thought a blog was just a place to go on and on about stupid ideas. (Actually I first thought that blogs must have been created by people with too much time on their hands....that was THEN...I don't think that way anymore). MY blog soon became our family's journal. It was a way to give people a window into our family's life on the mission field in Benin. We shared alot of emotion (good and bad). It was a way to socially connect with a world that otherwise seemed very distant (simply geographical problem).

Now that we've moved back to the U.S. and I have started my own marketing blog, I release Kelly to take over what was once mine. Truthfully, I believe I've written only a couple of posts in the 8 months since our return. It's weird...I use to relish the idea of writing blog posts...now I enjoy writing for my marketing blog, but perhaps it's this re-entry thing that has my personal thoughts all bottled up inside. Maybe Kelly will let me guest-blog on HER blog a couple of times now and then.

-Randy
Did I tell you I have a marketing blog that you are free to look at AND make comments on??
