About Us
- Kelly Vaughn
- My husband, Randy, and I have four wonderful kids: Tori (9), Timothy (5), Jonathan (3), Lael (3)! We were church-planting missionaries, serving in Benin, West Africa from 1999 until July 2007. We are now back in Texas, learning to live in the good ol' USA! It's very challenging, yet we are so thrilled to be near our family & friends!!

What fun pictures and a great account of a fun party! You guys sure know how to do parties there . . .I'm learning tips from you for sure!! Thanks for sharing, and we sure have been talking about Tori's (and Uncle Randy's and Daddy's) birthdays a lot around here!! Tell Tori the boys sure missed being with her for her birthday!! Kendra

We now know who to select for "Parents of the Year" this year!! You guys went all out...how fun!! I loved the cake, games, party favors, outfits....especially the red boots! Thanks for sharing!
You've set a high standard for us! We'll keep our little one away from your blog for awhile so that we have some time to get "seasoned" as parents before we pull out all the stops for his/her birthday bash!
We enjoy keeping updated on all your news.
Lael's shower was so much fun!! Emille and her "girls" went all out with the decorations and not a detail was overlooked! They even had edible flowers on her cake...which everyone said tasted just like flowers. I wasn't brave enough to try that part but the icing sure was delicious!

Thanks Kendra, Sam and M/J for the comments. It was a very fun party...wish we could have shared it with so many of you! Maybe next year when we'll be home on furlough!!!
Now Timothy is running around saying, "MY BIRTHDAY?"....think he's already planning his for next May!

Oh wow...this party was the best...once again Randy...WOW! I love all the pics. The Tori shot are so great and the family pic is great. Lael with the cowboy hat on is adorable! We love you all so much and looking at pictures like these makes us wish all the more that Southwest flew to Benin with the 29$ each way fare...we would see you for lunch tomorrow! Can't wait to talk soon!

What a great party! I love the color the belt buckle idea as well. But you all really put the pressure on yourselves to do 4 spectacular birthday parties every year. Great pictures!!! Love the red boots Tori Bug!! The picture of "Kadi" made me giggle and want to hold her so bad!! Make sure she knows her Uncle Dondo can't wait to see her. The campfire was probably my favorite part. What cowgirl party would be complete without beans, cornbread and lemonade around a campfire. Perfect touch. How many more days to furlough??? Miss you all so much. Love you.
