IT'S SNOWING IN BENIN???? No, as a matter of fact, we are sweltering through the very intense part of dry season here...the other day I put my temperature gauge outside in the direct sunlight...within 15 minutes, the thing shot up to 117 degrees!! Not that we stand in the direct sunlight much, but it gave reason to our feelings of extreme fatigue lately. PICTURE: Today is our day off and Kelly and I embarked on the job of defrosting and cleaning out our deep freezer (who knew we could be so much fun!) All of sudden the kids got involved, enjoying transporting all the shaved ice to throw away outside...but before we knew it, a "snowball" fight had ensued between Tori and Timothy! I guarantee that ice didn't last two minutes, but these wonderful kids sure made it a fun moment while they could. They came running in, screaming "our hands are freezing!" Not a line you hear often around these parts.

That looks like so much fun . .Colby especially enjoyed looking at the ones of the kids. I'm having a hard time convincing him that you aren't his Daddy, though, Randy. He's wondering what his Daddy is doing with his cousins in Africa?? I look forward to him seeing the two of you together again so he can tell us all his little thoughts . .he cracks us up with the things he comes up with!
I love the sweet pictures of this post. The one of Tori and Bensha should be framed! I can't imagine how hot it must be there, although we haven't exactly had a winter here -- I think it's supposed to be 83 degrees (Farenheit) tomorrow. Take care and I love reading up on you guys!
I love seeing Timo and Tori having fun together...all of these pictures paint such a beautiful picture of your family! I sure miss you all!
Love you so much...

Kelly--
Becky was INCREDIBLE!! I wish so badly that I had thought to record her sessions!! A lesson learned for the next retreat. My favorite comment on our retreat evaluation form was "Becky was so good, I didn't want to leave to go pee".
We will have pictures posted on FXCC's website by tomorrow or Thursday.
Anyway, thought you'd like to hear from an "outsider" about how powerfully the Lord spoke through your sister this weekend!
P.S. The "special treat" for Tori I referenced on Sam's blog is the 2nd season of Little House on the Prairie on DVD. I thought it would be a great help with those colonial lessons. Sam said that you already had one of the seasons on DVD so let me know if you already have this one.
Love keeping updated with your family!!
Jaime
